Neal- Millie's Honor is responsible for causing me to
miss my morning run today! I couldn't put it down until I finished (very late last night:). I LOVED IT! I love your characters, your story, everything about it! My only
request is to make sure I get one of the first copies of
your next book!!! Regards, Janel
Neal, For me, Millie's Honor took on the 'page-turner' attribute immediately upon Raymond's return from ''Nam. The presentation of events had the effect of
making me sit up, lean forward, and pay attention.
Shucks man, I even dreamt that night about my own M1911A1!! Thanks for a well written, well researched, suspenseful story. When's your next one due?
Take care. Hello to Mary!! Jesse
Neal, I just finished "Millie's Honor". I could hardly put it down. Great story! And well spun. Congratulations! I confess that I have not read a novel for years -- too engrossed in history, I guess. Really, it was a good, fun read with just the proper twist at the end to let the reader know he was far off base as the story unfolded. I do
notice a bit of autobiography creeping in and that makes
it all the more interesting, don't it? (Grammar counts!) How is it selling? And when is the next one off the press? Don't look back, John Grisham! Best , Otey
Dear Neal, Thanks for the novel. I really enjoyed it and reflecting at the end that some people (Raymond and Millie) are survivors and some leave a legacy. I don't think they are mutually exclusive, but often they don't coincide. Thanks for the enlightening picture of a Vietnam Vet as well. It is helpful to understand the difficulties many may face again returning from Iraq. I hope to get my copy of Millie autographed. By the way, you might like to know that it was very easy to order and receive by mail. Gary
Neal, Thanks for inviting me to your reading and signing. I could have listened to the whole book. It is very good - you have such a way with words. I look forward to the next book. Thanks again. I hope it sells like hotcakes! Jackie
